92.7 FM Radio High ties up with NBFFC

MUMBAI: Radio High 92.7 FM has partnered with the 1st North Bengal Film Festival (NBFF) which will be held from 16th to 19th Oct 08 at Jalpaiguri. Filmmakers from North Bengal covering six districts will participate in this film festival which will showcase feature films, docu-features, documentaries, telefilms, short films and music videos.

"Awards will be given as per the verdict of the jury board headed by eminent film personality like Sri. Mrinal Sen among other film critics" said Kalyan Mitra GM Radio High.

An exhibition on 112 years of world cinema will be arranged by Chalachitra Satabarsha Committee of Kolkata. Besides, seminars, workshops and interaction with the film makers would be arranged. Apart from this indigenous and foreign films will also be exhibited during the festival. The Dept. of Information and Culture Affairs, Govt of W.B. and the local Administration are encouraging the initiative
