MUMBAI:- Living up to its brand promise of keeping listeners happy, Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM, India's hottest Radio station has given the
city of Chennai a New Year Gift in the form of a brand new show called Mirchi Devaragam. Launched on Jan 1, 2009 the show is
all set to make the mornings more divine for Chennaiites.

The show is hosted by Chennai's favourite RJ Deva (RAPA Award winner - Best Female Jockey) every day from 5.00 am to 7.00 am
everyday of the week. As a part of its unique programming content, Chennai listeners will now wake up to the notes of
Suprabhatam (coinciding with the time of sunrise) on Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM.

'Suprabhatam' sung by the nightingale of Carnatic music M.S. Subbulakshmi and 'Kanda Shasti Kavacham' by the Sulamangalam
sisters will herald the new day in the life of Chennaiites.

Moving ahead from the devotional songs the content of Mirchi Devaragam will also include interesting elements like "Bakthi
Neram" by Mrs. Revathi Shankaran, where she will enlighten listeners on divine stories, thoughts, facts on famous temples,
religious practices thereby ensuring that the Radio Mirchi listeners' start the day with an auspicious thought.

For those who like to know what the day holds for them, renowned astrologer Shri. Kaliyoor Narayanan will give daily updates
on the day's forecasts according to 'rasi' (star sign) in the 'Rasi Palan' segment

In addition to all of this, the show will also give the listeners, the Rahu Kalam time each day and will conclude with RJ
Deva reading a prayer request from listeners.

The show will give information regularly on temple trips and tours to religious destinations, calendar of religious events
and one of the show highlights will be that the listeners will get the chance to win free trips to Tirupathi on
participating in show based activities.
