BIG 92.7 FM reaches out to the people of Kolkata Hosts BIG Chumuk from the Bazaar!
MUMBAI: As the Kolkata Station of BIG 92.7 FM delivers on its offerings of Moner Moto Gaan (music that you like!) each day, the Station has begun on a very innovative way to reach out to more and more people of Kolkata. Saturday's mornings see RJ Koushik host the breakfast show, the BIG Chumuk, live from the quintessential Kolkata Bazzars as he interacts with public who come for the traditional Saturday morning weekly shopping. Interactions take exciting twists as people share insights into their lives and fascinating gossip which makes for interesting on air content. The RJ also takes song requests & dedications making it highly interactive and ensuring music that the listener wants on air.
As a part of the week long build up RJ Koushik requests listeners to vote for their para bazzar (neighbourhood bazaar), where they would like BIG 92.7 FM to host the show from. Paras receiving maximum votes are pleasantly surprised with the Big Booth set up in their para, early on a Saturday morning. The Station has already hosted hit shows from places like Jadavpur Sree Colony, Ramlal Bazaar, Purbachal, Keshtopur, Ultadanga, Garia, Muraripukur & Bagmari and plans to penetrate deeper into the city.
Taking interactivity to a new level, RJ Koushik invites listeners into the BIG Booth while hosting the show, chatting them up and putting on air their song requests. What is of real interest is the 3 KG Rui Maach which one lucky person stands to win!
