Big 92.7 FM speaks out on World Population Day
MUMBAI: As the United States Census Bureau estimates the earth's population at 1.77 billion and only growing to overtake China in the near future, BIG 92.7 FM, India's No. 1 FM network fights population explosion! As a responsible corporate, the Radio Station is using its network to create awareness for the serious issue through a very interesting campaign with Guitar Monk and 40 guitarists. This group uses the music route to innovatively communicate the how the earth is today and how it will be by 2026, should we not do something about the burgeoning population. The Station also created content to counsel and advocate its listeners about the virtues of small family and the ill effects of population explosion.
The BIG FM RJs shared interesting facts based on population. The Delhi BIG FM organized a very fascinating event at DLF, Vasant Kunj, supported by Guitar Monk and 40 other guitarists who were seen wearing mask depicting the music 2026, when India's population would cross that of China. The extraordinary attraction of the event was the attention-grabbing Jugalbandi between the two group guitarists creating Music of 2009 & Music of 2026.
