MUMBAI: BIG 92.7 FM, India's No. 1 FM Station, in its continual effort to provide wholesome entertainment to its listeners organized "BIG RAIN RUSH - Masti ki bahaar, inaamo ki bauchhaar", a week-long monsoon celebration event in association with Spencer's Hyper, that culminated here in great style.

Over 150 prizes in different categories were given away over the 7-day period. Listeners participated in on-air contests and won a prize every hour between 9 am and 7 pm during the week. On offer were life-style products like bluetooth wireless headsets, dining tables, Philips 2 GB digital video mp3 players, hair dryers, massagers and home appliances like pop-up toasters, steam irons, glass sets, hand blenders, compact fans and washing machine! In addition, barodians got a chance to win at least a dozen prizes by participating in games and contests at BIG FM OB Vans each day.

Breakfast Jock RJ Tejal and RJ Palak went to the various winners' residence each day along with Dhol and Nagaara to hand them their prizes. People responded in thousands to the monsoon celebration event, and the listener sending the highest number of smses won a washing machine as the bumper prize. A lucky draw was also held between 60 listeners and 10 lucky winners each received a bluetooth wireless headset sponsored by RPG cellucom.
