'Big Tashani' farewell by Big 92.7 FM
MUMBAI: In its endeavor to further reinforce the clear leadership status that it enjoys amongst the listeners of the city, BIG 92.7 FM, India's No.1 FM Station, threw a gala farewell bash - �BIG Tashani' for class XII students Organised at the KD Palace on 7 Feb 09, the bash had participation of almost 1500 students of class XIIth.
The bash was conceptualized as a means to capture the excitement of students who are passing out from the schools and to give them a gala farewell which they will cherish forever The �BIG Tashani' farewell intended to provide a platform for all the class 12th students to showcase their talent and to have a blast during their last few days in school.
The preliminary round of �BIG Tashani' commenced on February 2, with RJ Peeyush, RJ Deepali and RJ Sugandha visiting more than 15 schools in Kanpur and conducting interesting quizzes Students were extremely excited and participated enthusiastically The first round short listed 20 students who won entry tickets for BIG Tashani. Besides this, students also got an opportunity to win free passes for this party by smsing �Tashani' to 55454.
The Grand Finale had huge participation from students who were seen grooving along with some rocking numbers and competing for the �Prince' and �Princess' of Kanpur title. RJs judged the first 20 participants based on their energy level, dressing style and overall personality. For the semi-finals, contestants were adjudged on their memory and corporate knowledge. The final round was the talent round in which contestants had to showcase their talent – be it choreography, music or any other skills
After the nail-biting rounds, the final winners were announced and �Nilanshi Shukla' and �Raunak' were felicitated with the �Princess' and �Prince' award respectively The lucky winners received fabulous holiday vouchers from Club Mahindra, making their farewell party truly memorable
