DRM Brazilian webinar on 19 June

MUMBAI: The Digital Radio Mondiale (DRM) Consortium is joining forces on 19 June with the DRM Brazil Platform to run a webinar in Portuguese on using DRM for digitising all frequencies.

Senior members of the DRM Consortium together with Brazilian experts will be presenting the DRM benefits and giving answers to some of the frequently asked questions on this topic.

DRM representative in Brazil Marcelo Goedert said, “This is the first Brazilian joint webinar organised by the DRM Consortium which touches on the important subject of the digital migration from analogue to digital. We welcome this collaboration with the DRM Brazil Platform, a first of its kind.”

DRM Consortium Ruxandra Obreja chair said, “It is crucial for all Brazilian broadcasters, regulators, manufacturers and everyone involved in shaping the digital future of Brazil to get to know the benefits of migrating with DRM, which is the only global, green, open, all frequencies digital audio broadcasting standard. After the session we will answer some of the participants’ questions and address some of the queries and misconceptions around digitisation and DRM.”
