Enjoy the magic of Kabir
MUMBAI: The magic of poet Kabir will come alive through a series of films and music concerts by folk, classical and Sufi singers from India and Pakistan.
The festival `Koi Sunta Hai' will start from February 23 and end on March 1. It's the sum total of a five-year-long project on Kabir by film-maker Shabnam Virmani at Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology. Many artists, scholars and singers will participate in the festival.
The event features four documentary films, two folk music videos and 10 music CDs, along with translated books on the poetry.
Four films on `Journey of Kabir' will be screened from February 23 to 26 in multiple locations. From February 27, concerts and more film screenings will be held at Sophia High School, Palace Road. Entry is free. For details, call Kala at 9845216195.
