Lucknow's Radio City 91.1FM presents 'City Ka Radio' exhibition
MUMBAI: Commemorating World Radio Day on December 12, Lucknow's Radio City 91.1FM organised an innovative 'Whatte Fun' exhibition 'City ka Radio'. This unique 3 day exhibition which showcases a collection of the oldest radio sets owned by Lucknow's Radio Cityzens was inaugurated by Shrimati Kumkum Roy Choudhury, Assistant Director, Sahara India Pariwar today. RJ Meenu, host of City Spice and RJ Pooja, host of Hum Tum were also present for the inauguration.
Lucknow's Radio Cityzens can visit this unique exhibition from 11 AM - 9 PM, December 15-16 at Saharaganj Mall where the FM station is partnering Saharaganj's on-going 'Shop & Win Festival'. Visitors can vote for their favourite radio set, meet their favourite Radio City RJs and also play 'Whatte fun' games with them. The FM station is taking all the excitement on 'City ka Radio' on-air with LIVE broadcasts from the mall.
Basis the listener votes received, the 'City Ka Radio' award will be presented to the owner of the oldest radio set which is still in working condition. The winner will be declared on December 16 and stands to win the Radio City 'City ka Radio' certificate along with exclusive prizes courtesy Chappan Bhog and Saharaganj Mall.

Celebrating Lucknow city's love for radio, Lucknow's Radio City announced the innovative 'City ka Radio' contest. Starting December 5, listeners were invited to register their old radio sets which are still in working condition for the contest. The FM station received an overwhelming response to this with over 200 registrations. From these 200 radio sets, the Radio City team selected 30 of the oldest radio sets for the exhibition.
