MTV partners with Facebook to launch 'Celebrity Connect'

MUMBAI: MTV, the unsurpassed youth destination has partnered with Facebook, the No.1 social networking site to launch an application to promote their brand new twin based game show - MTV Connected called �Celebrity Connect'! �Celebrity Connect' is an online application where MTV Consumers will be able to choose their celebrity look-alike from a range of sportsmen, politicians and Bollywood celebrities and this will be published as an update on their Facebook profile! All one has to do is log on to www.mtvindia.com/connected, use their Facebook access details & chose your closest match!

Not only that, the celebrity with the maximum claims on look-alikes and the closest match of a consumer with a celebrity will be featured on MTV! Additionally end users of mtvindia.com will also be able to rate and comment on the celebrity connections. For Facebook, this is one of the first tie-ins to a reality game show in India.
