MTV Video Music Awards India to air on 7 channels of Viacom18 network
MUMBAI: The stage is set and the red carpet rolled out, the first edition of Micromax MTV Video Music Awards brings together some of the greatest names from the world of music and bollywood under one roof.
Marking his return to hosting an award show after many years, will be the dashing bollywood heart throb Imran Khan with ace comedian and actor Vir Das, this crazy duo will make everyone roll on the floor laughing with their quick wit and funny antics.
The show showcases versatile performances by some of the biggest names…Bollywood diva Priyanka Chopra on the journey of Indian music from its evolution till now, the gorgeousAnushka Sharma’s performance on a bollywood mash up. While on the other hand music maestro AR Rahman will enchant everyone with his vocals and music, the Punjabi cool dude Yo Yo Honey Singh will rock the stage with his biggest hits. Farhan Akhtar, Vishal Dadlani, Sonu Kakkar and Clinton Cerejo’s vocals only add to the celebration. The biggest surprise of the evening is a never seen before collaboration between international hip hop superstar and multiple Grammy Winner - T Pain and bhangara sensation RDB… it sure can’t get better than this. The MTV VMAI will also felicitate musicians across 17 diverse award categories right from bollywood to regional to Indie and international.
