Mundu Radio Hits Android Market

Google's Android operating system has seen tremendous growth over the past year. Since January alone, Android has doubled its total market share in the mobile operating system market, and devices based on Android accounted for 44% of smartphones purchased in the third quarter of 2010, according to research firm ChangeWave. Google says it is now activating around 200,000 phones a day, and now has more than 100,000 downloadable apps on Android Market.

In addition to Android, the Mundu Radio client currently supports more than 100 popular handsets based on iOS, J2ME, Symbian, Windows Mobile, Blackberry and Palm OS platforms. It has also been deployed with leading carriers and handset manufacturers throughout Asia, Europe and the U.S.
