Radio City adds to cricket frenzy with contest

MUMBAI: Radio City plays the ‘Tagged by Titan’ contest, adding onto to the cricket frenzy of the season. The eight week long activity started on 30 March across the eight cities of Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Jaipur and Kolkata.

The contest brings two of the biggest fans, one from each of the opposing teams to fight the ‘war of words’. The contest starts three days prior to the match when Radio City calls for entries from the biggest fans of the opponent team in each city. A contestant needs to prove that he/she is the biggest fan by answering Radio City’s quiz correctly. Two winners are chosen from the competing teams across two cities. For example, the biggest fan of Royal Challengers Bangalore in Mumbai and the biggest fan of Mumbai Indians in Bangalore are selected to play the game.

The two winners get to come to the Radio City studios and join our RJs in a debate about their teams. The final clash happens during the match when the biggest fan and the RJ teams up to cheer for their home teams on-air, along with their supporters.  The fan who wins this war of words gets to take home a special ‘Tagged by Titan’ watch.

The excitement soars with the RJ calling in listeners to recount their ‘tagged’ moment from the match.  A ‘tagged’ moment is an unforgettable moment involving players from both the teams.

The exciting ‘Tagged by Titan’ contest is already in full swing with fans going all passionate about their home teams. The battle climaxes with the IPL finale on 26 May.
