MUMBAI: On this special occasion of mother's day, Radio Mantra 91.9 FM gave its listeners a chance to honor, express gratitude & celebrate the joys of having a mother.

This week long celebration was held across the stations of Agra, Karnal, Jalandhar and Varanasi where participation was invited On AIR and listeners were invited to be a part of Radio Mantra 91.9 FM's On Ground initiative to find the �Best Mom of the city'.

A Talent hunt was organized for the mother's to showcase and indulge in activities beyond their chores. The mother's were to exhibit their best talent in the fields of singing, dancing & fashion. However, the deciding round was based on kids understanding of their mother – her likes and dislikes.

In Bareilly, as well, Radio Mantra 91.9 FM invited listeners to send in their mother's best recipes. The recipes were filtered down to top five by the head chef of a prominent hotel. The winning mother's recipe was featured in the hotel menu. She also won exciting packages including the best suite at the hotel.
