Radio Mirchi and Traffic police pledge to create smoother traffic conditions

MUMBAI: Realizing the problem of increasing traffic and unsafe driving, Radio Mirchi 98.3FM, India's hottest Radio station, has once again decided to rescue traffic victims in a joint initiative with traffic police and Delhi public. On July 11, 2008, Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM invited Joint commissioner of police -Traffic on their morning drive time show 'Hi Delhi' with RJ Anant & Saurabh to discuss traffic related issues with its listeners.

In this special interactive session on better traffic conditions , Mr.S.P. Srivastava , JCP - Traffic, went live on air with crazy duo RJ 'Anant & Saurabh' and discussed issues such as traffic jams and safety norms to be considered while driving with Delhiites. The listeners not only appreciated the initiative taken by Radio Mirchi & Delhi traffic police but also express their own views regarding various routes and basic things that will ease out the problems faced every morning by the people. RJ Anant & Saurabh added fuel to the fire when they discussed crazy road rage incidents that take place each day and thus end up in creating problems for others. Delhiites took it as their responsibility to cooperate with traffic police and make Delhi roads a safe place to drive on.Expressing his views on the programming initiative, Srinivasa Shenoy, Cluster Head, Radio Mirchi said, "Radio Mirchi has always believed in providing solutions to problem faced by Delhiites. To make life simpler and easy for people who face problems caused due to the development drive in the city we invited JCP traffic on our station for an exclusive t?te- -t?te. We are sure that our listeners will not only enjoy the interactive session but will find it both informative and helpful."
