MUMBAI: Radio Mirchi, Madurai celebrated its first birthday on September 29th 2008 in its own style. A huge graffiti board was placed in the office and people from all across Madurai walked into office and signed on it congratulating Mirchi for its successful completion of 1 year.

Loads of fun surrounded the office during the Mr. and Ms. Mirchi - Hot Couple contest. This was followed by a Cake cutting ceremony with all the wonderful listeners of Madurai.

Also to celebrate Navarthri, Madurai for the first time will witness a - "9 days 9 RJ's" from October 1. Here for next 9 days only one RJ will host live shows for 24 hours.
