MUMBAI: With the Sandalwood Industry celebrating 75 years of existence, Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM, Bengaluru's sakkath hot radio station is all set to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee of Kannada cinema. Commemorating the 75th birthday of Kannada filmdom, Radio Mirchi in the next eight days will treat the city with delight of 75 Sandalwood stars celebrating and sharing their views and experience on-air on being a part of the industry that is committed to entertain the Kannada movie buffs.

Industry stalwarts from all ages and genres will be sharing their glorious moments of their stint with Kannada filmdom starting from Abhinaya Sharadhe Jayanthi to the ultra stylish Ramya, TS Nagabharana to Preetham Gubbi, Hatrick Hero Shivraj Kumar to Golden star Ganesh & many more.

Kannada Cinema came into existence in 1934 with its first talkie movie Sati Sulochana and the industry has not looked back ever since. Kannada films also gave birth to one of the most talented actors in India the legendary Dr.Rajkumar in the 1954 with his first movie Bedara Kannappa.
