Radio Misty partners with Flower Festival
MUMBAI: Radio Misty 94.3 FM, the first fm station of North Bengal partnered with the largest flower festival of North East. Thousands of people including students and foreign tourists visited this Flower Show in Siliguri for four days.
The show is being organised by the Siliguri -Horticultural Society. The venue kanchangunja stadium in Siliguri witnessed huge crowds. About 150 varieties of flower plants are on show. Various cultural programmes were organised every day in connection with the flower show which is being held for the twenty four consecutive years. On Sunday a drawing competition was organised in association with Radio Misty, where about 600 children's took part. Beside this Recitation, songs, Dance, Kids Fashion show was also organised.
Says Radio Misty Chief Executive officer Nishant Mittal we always believe in direct connect with listerners.This flower show is the biggest flower festival in this region. The aim of the programme is to make people aware of the natural beauty given by the plants. We made special shows to make a buzz around this festival.
