Red FM celebrates 'Slumdog' triumph
MUMBAI: Red FM, the station for expression, celebrated the victory of �Slumdog Millionaire' with the children that were a part of the rags-to-riches story. RED FM organized a special screening of �Slumdog Crorepati' at PVR Cinema, Lower Parel on February 26 for those kids who were a part of the movie and could not attend the Oscar ceremony.
Walking down Red FM's 'Red carpet', which was specially laid out for them, were those kids who had played different roles in the movie. Gleaming with pride, these kids along with their families were dressed in their best attire and received a red carpet ishtyle welcome.
Speaking on the initiative, Anuj Singh, National Marketing Head and Station Head – Mumbai, Red FM, said, The Oscar success of the movie is a matter of pride and excitement across the country. The film captures Mumbai's lust for life, and through this initiative, RED FM felicitates and acknowledges these kids who were a part of the film and helped bring alive the true essence of Mumbai in it.
