The Festival of Asian Marketing Effectiveness to showcase inspiring content

MUMBAI: The Festival of Asian Marketing Effectiveness, set to take place in just over three weeks, will engage delegates with an outstanding two-day programme of content, providing insights and learning into effectiveness in brand marketing.

A line-up of over 30 industry leaders from across the Asia Pacific region will take to the stage to address and debate relevant issues and themes. Wednesday’s speakers will include Ajay Kaul, Executive Director Global Brand Communications Worldwide Marketing, Lenovo; Chris Foster, Chairman & Regional CEO, Saatchi & Saatchi, Asia Pacific; Josy Paul, Chairman & National Creative Director, BBDO India; Jon Cook, CEO and President, VML; Ratan Mali, Director of Strategic Planning, Asia Pacific, JWT; Jia Tan, Head of Marketing (Retail Banking and Wealth Management), HSBC China; and Wei Qing, General Manager of Windows Product, Microsoft Greater China. On Thursday, seminars continue with the likes of Leigh Reyes, President and Chief Creative Officer, Lowe + Partners; Joseph Baladi, Head of Consulting, Leo Burnett Institute of Behaviour; Sophia Ong, National Planning GM, Tencent; Steven Plimsoll, Chief Technology Officer/Chief Information Officer, Mindshare Worldwide; Li Lei, Senior Media Manager, Mars China; Sabrina
Tian, Purchasing Group Manager, Digital Media, P&G China and Wei Zhu, Chief Executive Officer, Miaozhen Systems.

Alongside the content programme, a selection of shortlisted work from The Festival of Asian Marketing Effectiveness Awards will be on show, providing a showcase of the region’s finest work and giving delegates the opportunity to learn and draw inspiration. 

During the Festival the jury will discuss and debate the shortlisted entries to decide on those that are worthy enough to be elevated to prize winning status. The winners will be revealed and honoured during the Awards Ceremony which draws the Festival to a close on Wednesday 9 May. Following a new format this year, delegates are invited to attend an Awards Cocktail Reception before taking their seats in the Grand Ballroom at the Pudong Shangri-La, Shanghai, for the Awards Ceremony. The Awards After Show Cocktail will end the Festival and Awards in style with the chance to celebrate and network into the night.

The Festival of Asian Marketing Effectiveness festival director Myriam Coupard said, “Everything is in place to make this a truly exceptional event – fantastic jury members, brilliant speakers and great regional work. It’s going to be a really motivating couple of days and a true celebration of the industries achievements in the region.”

Delegate registration is currently open with a full delegate pass costing US$775 and discounted rates available for Students at US$350 (Festival only) and young planning professionals with the Young FAME package at US$400.
