Times Music presents 'Swar Paavsaat Bhijtaat' by Vaishali Samant

MUMBAI: In today's world of mobile phones and Ipods, the GenNext is always musically connected. And if the music is western hard rock, heads automatically begin to nod and feet begin to tap. It is generally assumed to be having English songs, but times have now changed… 100% western flavoured Marathi music has finally arrived.

Times Music brings to you a new Marathi album with a young and modern perspective. Swar Paavsaat Bhijtaat' consists of lively Marathi songs composed in a variety of international genres such as soft rock, hard rock, pop, country music etc. The title song Swar Paavsaat Bhijtaat' is what one would term as hard core Marathi Rock'. The songs talk about the arrival of the monsoon and the romance associated with this endearing season.

The songs have been sung by none other that popular artiste Vaishali Samant. Her rendition of these songs has added a new perspective to the music, since we do not often hear a female artiste performing rock-based songs. The foot-tapping music has been composed by Rohit Nagbhide of Tingya' fame and Jeevan Dharmadhikari. Music arrangers Ajay Atre and Mandar Dev have added a Hollywood flavour to the album. The lyrics have been penned down by Abhijeet Tilak with an equally modern touch.
