MUMBAI: On the eve of No tobacco day on 31st may for a social cause Trichy's No:1 fm station , Suryan 93.5 fm, in association with Dinakaran and KMC Hospital organized a two wheeler rally on to create awareness on the ill effects of tobacco usage. Trichy district collector Thiru T. Soundaih flagged off the colourful rally which covered almost all the important places of the city. In front of RPF Divisional officer hundreds of listeners took a pledge not to use tobacco products anymore.

On the occasion Dr. Manivannan highlighted the factor that tobacco usage can even cause impotence.
