Agam`s tabla vaadan on L`iL Champs and Shaabash India
Mumbai August 31:Five year old Agam Shingari is an ace tabla player. At this tender age, he has enthralled many with his performances on the tabla. He will be featured in the 2007 edition of the Limca Book of Records as the `youngest tabla player`.
With numerous awards under his belt, he is all set to woo viewers on this Friday`s episode of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa`s L`iL Champs. And, he is also soon to appear on Zee`s popular show Shaabash India.
His fast pace movements on the tabla reveal that he is very talented and is in great demand to perform in musical concerts. His hometown Amritsar is proud of his achievements. He has performed at many functions in reputed institutes in Amritsar and all over India.
Alam has also appeared on the show Jhil Mil Tare on Doordarshan last year. Nicknamed the future Zakir Hussain, he regales audiences playing the tabla in perfect sync and tune to classical music.
His mother Shweta says, "He started playing on the dining table and on vessels at the young age of two and half years. He has later trained under Ustad Lakhichand. He practices for an hour daily. He can play for various genres of music including bhajans, ghazals and songs."
The performances on Zee TV`s shows are going to get him further recognition and we are sure to see more of him in time.
