MUMBAI: All India Radio is planning to introduce internet services including webcasting and podcasting in the near future. These features will be available on a new website www.allindiaradio.in , an exclusive preview of which was available at the BES Expo at Delhi.

At least 20 channels, incuding some regional channels and VBS will be available via online streaming (Live audio). News, music and drama will be available through on demand audio. News, talk shows and other programs will also be available thru podcast services. Later, AIR plans to put its archives (AIR and Doordarshan music) online which will be available for download at a price.
