MUMBAI: Big 92.7 hosted an on air and on ground bash for its brand ambassador, Kannada film actor Upendra on 18 September 2007. The station took 927 listeners to Upendra`s resort where the actor hosted an exclusive lunch. This is the biggest meet and greet activity hosted by any radio station so far in Bangalore, claims the station.

The station also organised for an exclusive helicopter for the actor who traveled along with Big FMs RJs Harsha and Kiran to his resort.

The on air content on Upendra`s birthday contained interesting trivia about the "Namma Bengaluru Huduga" and also aired songs from his movie and birthday wishes of his fans. A huge birthday card was taken to different places in Bangalore where people wrote their wishes for the superstar. The card was then handed over to Upendra.
