MUMBAI: Big FM`s Kanpur station recently organised an awareness workshop and seminar on wildlife preservation and conservation in association with MMV PG College.

The Kanpur zoo director R Hemant Kumar, along with Head of Environmental science department Kanpur University, Dr Ranjit Sahu, and Dr Sunita Arya conducted the workshop, which was attended by more than 500 students. The workshop was followed by an awareness campaign which included a human chain spreading the message of `Save Animals`.

Says Big FM`s regional director-North, Pankaj Chandra, "Activities like this has not only made people aware of wildlife conservation but also provided info rmation on their importance in the maintenance of a healthy ecological balance."
