Britney's new 'Ooh La La' single for 'Smurfs 2'

MUMBAI: Pop star Britney Spears new single is out. The catchy, light bubble gum pop track ‘Ooh La La’ is to be part of the new Smurfs movie soundtrack.

‘Ooh La La’ will be bundled with the debut single ‘Vacation’ from new artist, GRL and will be featured on the soundtrack for ‘The Smurfs 2’, the sequel to the live action/animated film that raked in over $560 million at the worldwide box office in 2011. Spears, 31, debuted her new single on ‘On Air with Ryan Seacrest’ radio programme, report said.

She plans to release a new album by 2013 end.

Explaining the track and involvement, Spears said that the primary motivation for her to do the song was her sons’ obsession for the hit movie The Smurfs.

“It has a young feel to it. But the main reason why I did it was because my boys, they’re obsessed with the Smurfs. We’ve seen the Smurfs movie a million trillion times, and they were told they could be in the video and all this cool stuff so that’s the reason why I did it,” she said.

"I think it doesn't really certainly mean a certain phrase or anything, but it's about feeling good. Like you make me feel like 'ooh la la,' like when a guy makes you giddy: it's more of a feeling.”
