MUMBAI: The Channel [V] celebrated its 13th anniversary in a concert that brought together both Indian and International singing sensations. The event began with Pakistani singer Atif hitting the high notes followed by Bappi Da`s Disco fever. The show also had an International guest performer, hip hop super star Akon who decided to leap onto the audience during his performance, resulting in his act being cut shot. However, the remaining Indian stars including the likes of Shaan, Kailash Kher, and DJ Suketu enthralled the audiences with their popular numbers.

The Big [V] Concert also saw music trio Shankar Ehsaan Loy perform their latest single from the forthcoming movie Salam-E-Ishq and were accompanied by actress Priyanka Chopra. In the birthday mood, Channel [V] Head Honcho Amar K Deb said, "What better way to celebrate our birthday than with the most humungous music celebration ever. Our `favouritest` artists in the world helped us celebrate 13 years of the hottest music and the most cutting edge creativity, in this mad carnival atmosphere.
