DJs to converge at Kochi's C2 Ocean Fest

MUMBAI: Clubbing forum 'Club Converge  better known as (C2) from Kerala is gearing for the C2 Ocean Fest 2008 in partnership with Club FM and Indian Express.

C2 is a popular name among the party-goers and has over 1500 registered members. The three day festival will be held at Willingdon Island in Kochi on 5, 6 and 7 December after 9 pm.

Till now, the club has been holding monthly events. However, this is the  first time that the club will play as the 'official entertainer' for the international Volvo Ocean Race India Stopover at Kochi. For those who are not familiar with the race, the Volvo Ocean Race is the world's premier yacht race for professional racing crews. The 2008- 09 race spans over nine months and started from Alicante in Spain on 4 October 2008, and for the first time ever, will touch the Asian waters at Kochi (India). The yachts will cover over 39,000 nautical miles and will make stops over 11 ports to complete the race successfully.

The event will also showcase the bigwigs of the Indian and international party circuit performing live for the first time in Kerala. The line-up includes MTV VJ and DJ Nikhil Chinappa, DJ Pearl (Submerge, Mumbai), Tuhin Metha (Brute Force Records), DJ Vachan (Taika, Bangalore), DJ Dominic Rozario (Speed, Chennai), DJ Sachin (Beatbox, Tecgressive), DJ Arjun Vagale (Jalebee Cartel), DJ Neil (Beatbox, Bangalore) and DJ Vijay (Speed, Chennai).

To add colour to the spectacle, flare bartenders, MCs and Visual Jockeys from all over the world will be performing. Bookings are still open at Prime Time's office at Kochi, Bangalore and Chennai.
