G V Prakash to compose for Shirish Kunder's Alien Sahib

MUMBAI: After a successful stint down South, composer G V Prakash is all set to make his mark on Bollywood. The young composer will score the music of Shirish Kunder's directorial debut Alien Sahib staring John Abraham.

Contrary to media reports doing the rounds, the musician denied that he would be composing music for Farah Khan's Tees Mar Khan staring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif. "I am composing for Shirish's maiden directorial venture Alien Sahib and not Tees Maar Khan," he corrected. The composer will start working on the film from August this year.

The musician who is the nephew of Oscar and Grammy winner composer A R Rahman, also has his hands full with projects down south. "I am getting good work in South. I would be scoring music for one Telugu film, eight Tamil films and one film in Kannada."

Prakash is also gearing up to launch his first album. He adds, "I am starting to work on my album and would release it by next year. I am also planning to launch the album in four languages Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Kananda."

The composer was earlier also approached by film maker Vikram Bhatt to compose for his film. "He had asked me to go through the script of three films and choose the one that I would like to do. But things couldn't materialise and I am not doing his projects as of now," he explains.
