Hello FM set to launch in Coimbatore

Mumbai: Hello 106.4 FM will launch in Coimbatore on 5 November 2007, making it the Malar Group`s fifth station to go on air.

The station has already launched in Chennai, Madurai Tirunelveli and Tuticorin.

According to the station, the Coimbatore station will also be maintaining the same frequency so that listeners can have uninterrupted supply of quality entertainment and information while traveling towards the southern tip.

On the launch day, the radio station will be giving away 1064 gold coins to lucky winners throughout the day. As an inaugural offer the radio station will be lending its expertise in producing product commercials, brand imaging and identities. Says Hello FM COO Rajeev Nambiar, "We are thrilled and proud to launch our radio station in Kovai. The response that we got from Madurai, Tirunelveli and Tuticorin has been extraordinary and we hope to cater to the needs of the listeners in Coimbatore also. The launch of this station will provide an excellent platform for advertisers all over India to effectively reach their target audiences down south through radio. Large and small retail establishment will get a boost as they would start witnessing the power of Radio and the experience of being active in a professionally managed electronic medium. We are also planning to launch our radio stations in Trichy and Pondicherry thus becoming one of the largest radio station covering pan Tamil Nadu."

Says marketing head D Charles, "We have a lot of marketing activities that are planned to promote the radio station more efficiently. Our promotion includes contact programs at various tea stalls, local saloons, bus stations and a lot of other public places. We are hoping to create a lot of brand visibility by this launch and are looking forward to engage effectively with our listeners here."
