Israeli teen singer Liel to tour Bangalore

BANGALORE: Radio Indigo will be bringing Israel's singing sensation Liel Kolet and her World Music band to perform live in Bangalore on May 15.

The event is being organised jointly by the Israeli Consulate in Mumbai and the Bangalore School of Music, with Radio Indigo.
18 year old Liel, who has been compared with Celine Dion, performs all over the world and has shared the international stage with former US president Bill Clinton, Bono, Elton John, The Scorpions, and many other international stars. Born and raised on a Kibbutz in the north of Israel, her personal crusade for the safety and well being of children all over the world has brought her to the attention of the Pope, for whom she will perform in Rome, on May 29.

This will be Liel's first tour of India. Her band line up consists of musicians with diverse backgrounds: Barak Ben Zur (drums), Eitan Elbaz (bass), Tomer Adaddi (Musical director, Keyboards), Dror Haliba (Guitar), Victor Witzman (Percussion), Danny Kolet (Father & manager)

Radio Indigo 91.9 FM is producing the event. The mobile partner is Tata Indicom.
