Jalebee Cartel's Arjun Vagale to launch electronic music production school

MUMBAI: Electronic band Jalebee Cartel’s frontman Arjun Vagale is all set to launch the first electronic music production school ‘I Love Music Academy’ in Delhi.
The ILM Academy will provide education on electronic music production, slick audio/sound engineering and cutting-edge advanced DJing modules. The Academy offers short, high-impact, goal-oriented courses with a motive to teach music seriously.
The course catalogue will span basic and advanced DJing (using industry-standard turntables, CD players and the newest digital controllers from Native Instruments), electronic music production and audio engineering at brand new state-of-the-art, high-end studios equipped with digital and analogue equipment.
Vagale will head the electronic music production and sound engineering departments and will also offer advanced courses in equipment and techniques in both production and DJing. Llewellyn Hilt aka DJ Bubu, who has been a resident at various clubs in New Delhi and Kolkata for over a decade, will head the DJing faculty. Guest international artistes and DJs will also be invited to the ILM Academy to conduct regular workshops.
Speaking about the academy Vagale said,“The ILM Academy is born out of a dearth of good electronic music training schools in the country. At ILM, the uninitiated are taught by seasoned musicians and practical training gets the young musicians almost ready for the real deal.”
