Mumbai: Launched by Shemaroo, `Dual Series VCDs` is a compilation consisting of VCDs where each title includes songs from two popular films.

"As of now Shemaroo has released 30 such titles, a popular phenomenon in the music sphere today" states the release.

In each Dual Series title, a common factor between the two films is identified. It can be a common music director or lyricist; common lead actors or director; they could belong to a common genre or era; or they could be produced by the same banner.

Some of the Dual Series titles are Raj Kapoor`s films (R.K.Banner) `Awara & Shree 420`; `Bobby & Prem Rog` or `Sangam & Mera Naam Joker`. Subhash Ghai films `Taal & Pardes` and `Saudagar & Hero` amongst others.
