Mumbai: First of its kind, Music Today has unveiled a new way for listening albums release by them, in a Mini CD format.

"These tiny CD features 20 minutes of playtime and can be played on all CD players and can also be carried almost anywhere", states the release.

Until now, Music Today has released 11 titles including ghazal, devotional and Sufi genre by legendary artistes such as Ghulam Ali, Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Farida Khanum, Wadali Brothers, Hans Raj Hans and many others.

About this unique initiative, Music Today Business Director Gurmeet Singh said "Mini CD is an exciting new format. It is one-third the size of a normal CD and carries that much lesser data in it. Therefore, the format is apt for carrying one`s hit list or favourite music in one`s pocket!! At Music Today, we plan to experiment with the latest technology to bring the music to the buyer in exciting new ways." The albums in the mini cds format are: Best of Hans Raj Hans, Best of Abida Parveen, Best of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Best of Wadali Brothers, Best of Ghulam Ali, Best of Farida Khanum, Best of Mehdi Hassan, Shri Hanuman Chalisa, Gayatri Mantra, Shri Rama Raksha Stotram and Mahamrityunjay Mantra.
