Bangalore: Radio Mirchi 98.3FM crowned the winners of the Miss and Mister `Freshers` contest in Bangalore on Sunday. The finalists were four participants chosen from each of fifteen Bangalore colleges, who were judged by judges RJ Sachit, actor Mayur Patil, fashion designer Jane and model Smita Rao. The selection criteria included the participants` style quotient, communication skills, stage presence and wit.The participants had to go through two rounds. In the first round, 60 contestants walked the ramp and had to speak about themselves for a minute. Six finalists (three boys and three girls) were shortlisted and in this round, their wit and intelligence quotient were put to the test.

Also crowned were Miss and Mister Flying Machine `Stylish`. The final winners were :Miss Fresher - Riddhi from Presidency CollegeMr Fresher - visually impaired Sashank from MES CollegeMiss Stylish - Manorama from Sindhi College andMr Stylish - Sheikh Mohammed from M S Rammaiah College. The Fresher`s party kick-started a fortnight ago where Mirchi was holding competitions at various colleges in Bangalore. The Freshers` event constituted impromptu competitions and games like Rapid Fire, Mirchi Mimic, and Tongue Twisters, in the college campuses from 23 July to 10 August 2007.
