Mirchi launches campaign for Taj Mahal
MUMBAI: Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM, along with the IMCL-Bhaskar group has launched a nationwide campaign to encourage people to vote for the Taj in an effort to get the monument its due place in the soon to be announced new seven wonders of the world.The campaign will be launched simultaneously across all the 17 stations of Mirchi from 21 June till 7 July 2007.
A R Rahman`s ode to the Taj, Ek Mahobbat, will be premiered exclusively on Mirchi. Rahman will also give an exclusive interview to Radio Mirchi on the making of the anthem. All 17 Radio Mirchi stations will also air bytes from Bollywood stars appealing to listeners to join the campaign. Jocks on air will continuously urge listeners to SMS their votes. Radio Mirchi will also have special promotions for the campaign that will run round the clock.
