More than 100 unused compositions of Amit Kumar

MUMBAI: Bade Achhe Lagte Hain singer Amit Kumar may have post-poned Kishore Brothers Music(KBM) online store till November due to his back-log of work. But this singer is very much passionate about the same as he feels this will give him a creative space without any interference.
In Kumar’s earlier conversation with Radioandmusic.com, he said about his first album ‘Haan, Main Badnaam Hoon’ for the label is recorded at Gauri Kunj Bungalow. The album consists of eight-tracks sung by Amit. This will be the first album that will be available in the online store.
In the recent interview with Radioandmusic.com he said,“I have more than 100 unused compositions that will be launched under KBM label. I have used eight of them for my album. I will keep on adding more and more composition to this list. I don’t listen to now-a-days music. In the spare times, I compose my own music.”
Legendary Kishore Kumar’s son said, “Through KBM, I am going to bring back melody and poem. Many names have tied-up for the same which I would disclose at the right time. I am aware the risk that I have taken but I also confident that great followers of Amit Kumar will buy the tracks online.”
He further added, “I want KBM to be a platform that will allow musician and artistes to not depend on film music for their livelihood. I do not see KBM with business prospective.
Speaking about today’s technology and also piracy, Kumar said, “Man had created it and he has to face it. Digital technology is good but the misuse of it is just very sad. People want to enjoy man’s toil for free. Artistes put their effort in creating a piece of music but people don’t pay heed to it by promoting piracy.”
