My FM displays T20 trophy at Jaipur station

MUMBAI: The Bhaskar Group`s station, 94.3 My FM arranged for the T20 World cup trophy to be displayed at their Jaipur station for a day. An original, the trophy is the second piece made for the World Cup. The trophy was later sent to South Africa, the official venue of the T20 World Cup, says a release.

The trophy drew huge crowds to the station with people from all over flocking the station to get a glimpse of it. The channel not only showcased the trophy but also allowed the people to actually `hold` the prestigious trophy.

"After the `Future Cup Series` trophy got lost, the ICC came out with the rule of having two trophies made for each international cricket series, so we made two trophies for the T20 World Cup. At the special request of 94.3 My FM, we gave them the trophy to be displayed for their listeners for a day," said T20 World Cup trophy`s Designer & Manufacturer, Amit Pabulal.

"Most of the times, the fans never get to see the real trophy so we decided to give them a first hand experience of how it would be to hold the T20 World Cup trophy," said MY FM, Business Head, Harrish M. Bhatia.
