MUMBAI: NDTV Imagine is bringing Sharmila Tagore as a judge, along with Shankar Mahadevan and Prasoon Joshi, in its musical reality show Dhoom Macha De. This is going to be Tagore's television debut as a judge.

Dhoom Macha De will hit TV screens early next year.
On her new role as a judge, Tagore said,"I am excited to judge Dhoom Macha De. It's something I haven't done before, and I'm really looking forward to it." However, she also added that it will be a tough task as all the participants are extremely talented."

Mahadevan added,"I am delighted to co-judge Dhoom Macha De with Sharmila-ji. She truly epitomizes beauty and talent in Indian cinema, and it is going to be an honour to sit beside her to judge this show."

Dhoom Macha De will have 11 already established singers - Anaida, Baba Sehgal, Babul Supriyo, Devang Patel, Jaspinder Nirula, Jassi, Kamaal Khan, Richa Sharma, Sapna Awasthi, Suneeta Rao and Taz, who will come together in one show to compete.
