Nishant Mittal becomes youngest radio CEO of India

MUMBAI: Radio Misty chief executive officer Nishant Mittal has set a National Record as youngest radio CEO of country. India Book of Records has confirmed this record and sent a certificate on this achievement.

An alumnus of Manchester School of Business Nishant Mittal took over Radio Misty as its CEO of Radio Misty on 14 November 2007 at the age of 22 years. He has also been elected as vice president of Association of Radio Operators for India (AROI), the National Body of Radio Operators in Country. He has also regularly writing on different issues in newspapers and magazines across the country. Mittal has also been given many awards in recongination for his efforts to make radio an innovative medium to connect people.

Radio Misty is a part of the PCM Group, one of the largest groups of Eastern India. Under Mittal's leadership Radio Misty established stations at Siliguri in West Bengal and Gangtok in Sikkim and undertook several CSR activities. The station airs songs in five languages Hindi, Bengali, Nepali, English and Bhojpuri.
