MUMBAI: Bow Street Blues performed on Tuesday night in Mumbai to promote Pritish Nandy Communications` forthcoming film Bow Barracks Forever.Director Anjan Dutt sang songs from the film as well as a few Elvis numbers with his son Neil Dutt, who is the music Director of Bow Barracks Forever. Neel performed a few rock and roll numbers too. Shaan joined them and played some good English numbers. The event was well attended by popular celebrities including producer Pritish Nandy and his family, TV and theatre personalities Dolly Thakore, Mandira Bedi, Raj Kaushal, Meghna Gulzar, Shaan and Sudhir Mishra.

Dutt`s film Bow Barracks Forever is the real life story of a tiny but resolute Anglo Indian community right in the heart of bustling north Kolkata trying desperately to keep alive its hopes, dreams, aspirations--and its identity, as the world around them changes swiftly and tries to impose that change on them and their lives. It is a tale of heart breaking loneliness and immense courage. A group of musicians who have learnt the music from Anglo Indians or are Anglo Indians themselves have got together to celebrate Anglo Indian music and bring the plight of the Barracks to light. The Band consists of five people including Neil Dutt, Lew Hilt, Chiro (drummer), Shovant (key borad player) and Anjan Dutt.
