Radio City launches Whatte Fun microsite
Mumbai: Radio City has taken the `Whatte Fun` concept a step further by taking the initiative online. The network has launched www.whattefun.com, a microsite designed specially for the station`s Whatte Fun outlook. The online extension offers listeners a platform for expressing themselves. Users can watch the full-length `Whatte Fun` video and sing along with the lyrics to guide them. The Whatte Fun microsite also features a variety of material that has been built around the video, like a madcap Music Quiz, a Video Jigsaw as well as desktop downloads, whacky character profiles from the video and forums around Whatte Fun.
In keeping with the `Fun ki nayi bhasha` campaign, the Whatte Fun microsite also features a series of applications that have been designed to give listeners an online gateway to participate in Radio City`s new endeavour to twist language by the tail. Listeners can log in for an innovative guessing game featuring `Muhavras`, arm themselves with enough ammunition to win their next `Slang Bang` or share their unique sense of humour by submitting some hilarious captions.
Radio City national marketing Head Barua said, "Radio City`s `Whatte Fun` celebrates life and all those little moments which bring joy to the lives of our listeners. Our new microsite allows listeners to experience this fresh vibrance as well as contribute to the station`s Fun ki nayi bhasha. It is yet another initiative to reach out and be part of our listener`s lives and we have many such exciting plans in the offing."
