Radio Indigo presents 1st copy of `Harry Potter` to contest winner
BANGALORE: Radio Indigo 91.9 FM, Bangalore has culminated its Harry Potter contest by giving away the latest edition of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows to the winner Nitasha Nair. Running for the last three days on Radio Indigo`s including an exclusive speculation special on its afternoon show Indigo Juke Box, the contestants had to identify the name of the book from which a paragraph was read on air.
Radio Indigo national programming director Geoffrey Thomas said, "The first copy of the much awaited book of the season is a priceless thing. We got phenomenal response for this contest. To capture all the action, we went live from Landmark. Potter fans were put on air from the venue." As part of the Harry Potter special, Radio Indigo is running a special show to mark the launch of the book. The show is mainly targeted at school and college students.
