Radio One launches 'Hassi Ka Super Hit Formula'

MUMBAI: Radio One launches 'Hassi Ka Superhit Formula - No ifs, no buts only Hassi,Fataafat,' through the month of June. Programming on the station will be packed with humour, jokes and all things connected to laughter to give listeners an unforgettable radio experience.

Every hour of every show from 7am to 9 pm will showcase some activity under the 'Hassi ka Superhit Formula' umbrella, where RJ's give their own take on a chosen subject, and then invite a response from listeners to give their version on it, or listeners share a joke. Contests include invitations to listeners to tell a joke they find very funny, identify the laugh of a Bollywood personality, chances to show off their mimicry skills, share real life incidents, make up song parodies, share shayaris or even funny mis-heard lyrics.With prizes galore and every listener who is chosen to be on air will receive a prize which in keeping with the theme includes comedy DVDs, joke books and prank toys in addition to regular vouchers and Radio One goodies.

The station also plans to have relevant guests to spice up the programming on its very popular 'Good Morning Mumbai' and the' Drive Show', which will include guests such as Paresh Rawal, Cyrus Brocha, Vir Das, Lola Kutty, Shekhar Suman, Siddhu and more.

The station will also introduce a brand new humour segment titled 'Jaggu Se Takkar', a funny look at current events as interpreted by our in-house funny man Jaggu.

Says Radio One west station head Raj Gopal Iyer, "Radio One is positioned as the station for the fataafat generation. Humour creates a fataafat connect between people and no matter what kind of day you are having, humour provides for instant mood enhancement. This is the inspiration behind our theme."
