Red FM to broadcast coverage on visarjan

Mumbai: With Ganesh festival all set, Red FM will run a live coverage of the impression (Visarjan) procession on the second, the fifth, seventh day and last day of the event. The Mumbai based FM station will also offer traffic updates for working folk.

Through the festive week Red FM will air segments like Ganesh Gyaan and contests like Red FM Aapke Ghar around the Ganpati Utsav. Ganesh Gyaan will air everyday from 12 am to 12 pm, which will broadcast special capsules giving out interesting tidbits about Lord Ganesha, customs, traditions, food, temples and Ganesh Utsav celebrations in and around Mumbai.

With the contest Red FM Aapke Ghar, the team will visit various residential areas of Mumbai to pay its respects to Ganpati, by visiting listeners` homes to celebrate along with them, informs an official release.
