Red FM, Cry come together to spread awareness about basic education

MUMBAI: In an attempt to spread awareness about basic education among children aged 6-14 years, Red FM, in association with Cry, has initiated a "Sabko Shiksha Saman Shiksha" campaign.

Till 21 January, Red FM's tool of free expression, Red Mike will support Cry's objective by asking people in Mumbai to start paying close attention to what is going on in schools and to demand action to make government schools deliver quality education to all children irrespective of their caste, creed, race and gender.

Commenting on this initiative, Red FM Mumbai, station head, Anuj Singh said, "We are very glad to be associated with Cry for this noble cause. We have already started receiving many testimonials from people about their experiences with educational institutes in this country. We hope through our combined efforts we can spark off a change in attitude amongst the people so that they stand up for their rights!"

This initiative has also received support from celebrities like Arshad Warsi, Konkana Sen Sharma, Soha Ali Khan and singer Shaan. All these celebs will be on Red FM to discuss the issue on Red Mike and educate people on their rights and how they can demand action.
