Sanjay Dutt launches the music of `Shri Siddhivinayak Mahima`
MUMBAI: The music for the Marathi film Shri Siddhivinayak Mahima was unveiled by actor Sanjay Dutt and producer- director Madhur Bhandakar on 22 January at P L Deshpande Cultural Academy, Prabhadevi. The film is based on the deity Siddhivinayak who is worshipped by millions of devotees worldwide.
The event was also blessed by Asha Bhosle, Suresh Wadkar, Shankar Mahadevan, Sadna Sargam, Devki Pandit and Upendra Bhatt .
The music of the film has been composed by Ashok Patki and lyrics by Jagdish khebhudkar. The audio rights for the music as been acquired by Times Music, while the song Maha Aarti sung by Asha Bhosle, written and composed by Nitin Shankar has raised the films to great heights.
The film has been produced by Neeta Prasad Lad and the directed by Arun Nalavade ,the well-known Marathi stage and film artist, who played protagonist in the internationally acclaimed Oscar nominated film Shwaas, is making his debut with this Marathi film, states the release.
Shubham Cinevisions producers of the film have engaged the most modern technology to ensure a high quality production supported by regaling music and realistic script .The script of the film is based on four short stories including two stories on real life experiences of devotees and compiled with a common thread. There is no place for a superstition in the film, which is purely philanthropic, claims Neeta Prasad Lad
The director of Shubham Cinevision and a trustee of Siddhivinayak Temple trust, Prabhadevi Prasad Lads said, "We are happy that the Indian singing Stalwarts have contributed with their songs for this movie, Which would be popular with viewers, especially the millions of devotees of Lord Siddhivinayak".
