MUMBAI: Saregama Music has unvield a special two CD pack titled `Simply Sameer`, which is a compilation of songs of lyricist Sameer.

The CD pack was launched on Sameer`s Birthday, in the presence of numerous distinguished personalities from the Hindi music industry, informs an official release.

Sameer`s musical career begun in 1983 when he wrote his first film song for movie Bekhabar. He churned out a lot many chart topping hits. He has won three Filmfare awards and one Zee Cine award for his work.

Sameer`s style is known to be easy and simple and most of his songs are situational to the film. His style has earned him a great audience that cuts across all age groups, and his songs have made an instant connect especially with the youth.
