MUMBAI: Renowned playback singer Shaan is all set to experiment and test his dancing skills. The versatile singer will soon wear his dancing shoes for the sixth edition of  reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa.

Confirming the news with Radioandmusic.com Shaan said, “I am a part of the dance reality show. One month is still there before a choreographer is assigned and the practice session starts but I am waiting for it eagerly.”

He further adds, “I wanted to give dancing a shot but I am was planning to do it after four or five years, but my wife (Radhika) encouraged me to participate in the show as she felt it was the right time.”

Although this would be Shaan's debut in dancing but he has been associated with reality shows for quite sometime. Shaan has hosted Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs, Star Voice of India and Star Voice of India 2 and was team captain, judge, and mentor on Star Plus's Music Ka Maha Muqqabla for the team Shaan's Strikers, thus he holds a long-time experience of being associated with reality shows

The multi-talented singer who has lately returned after a concert in London, believes that dance will sharpen his dancing skills. Working hard to meet up to the challenge that he has taken is his aim currently, “I believe practice will be very important as it is not a good idea to make a fool of myself on national television,” he shared.
